Academics for Development Utrecht – Project Information Evenings
Do you want to join one of our projects for the next academic year? First, come to our Project
Information Evening and learn more about who we are, what we do and what we want from you!
On Thursday the 14th and Tuesday the 19th of September, AFD Utrecht will organize two Project
Information Evenings. We invite students to join us at Drift 25 and to listen to an explanation of the
four projects we will execute this academic year. These projects will take place in India, Uganda,
Jamaica, and the Netherlands, and the goal is to solve various problems and have durable social impact.
The four projects will consist of eight months of preparation and research in a multidisciplinary and
highly motivated team of students in the Netherlands. After this preparation phase, the student teams
will go abroad to one of the project countries to implement their solutions for the corresponding
problems.
Doing an AFD Utrecht project will give you, as a student, an opportunity to enrich yourself, use your
academic skills, and have durable social impact through a hands on, multidisciplinary, and crosscultural
entrepreneurship experience.
